Sales Manager - Rental Systems

The Sales Manager position is a key position in the company reporting directly to the Vice President. The Sales Manager will be the direct supervisor of all Outside Rental Sales Representatives. In this role your primary responsibilities will be to supervise, evaluate, train, and motivate our sales force to achieve superior results in their territories.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Establishing performance criteria for each salesman by month for every calendar quarter
* Reviewing results and holding monthly sales performance reviews with each salesman
* Evaluating salesmen s skill levels and arranging proper coaching and training programs to increase productivity and performance
* Recruiting, training, and mentoring new sales representatives as circumstances and business conditions require.
* Evaluating market opportunities and developing programs and plans to take advantage of these opportunities.
* Reviewing, evaluating, and managing pricing, coverage, compensation, customer entertainment, sales promotions, and territory assignments to maximize sales, rental revenues, and profitability
* Planning and organizing company sales meetings
* Designing and recommending marketing and promotional budgets and programs to build customer relationships and grow market share.

As a member of the Company s management team, the sales manager will be expected to work closely with all members of the management team and provide input and recommendations to the Vice President for enhancing and growing our business in every area, not just the sales function. In addition, you will act as a liaison between Salesmen and Branch Managers to communicate needs and operational problems encountered in daily sales operations and recommend solutions.
