Job: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

Jobing Description

This position is within the pediatric speech languate pathology section of Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children. The responsibilities include provision of diagnostic test procedures to evalutate and implement treatment programs in the areas of communication, swallowing and feeding for the pediatric populations of acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatients. The position also requires student supervision, program development and flexibility in service provision.

Requirements

Masters degree or Ph.D. in Speech Language Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and eligibility for state license in Mississippi. 2-3 years of clinical experience preferred. In addition, this position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills. Applicants should be energetic, a self-starter and work well as part of an interdisciplinary team.
