Jobing Description

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Performs supervisory audits as necessary. Overall responsibility for the supervision and coordination of all workflow activities related to case management team

Provides mentorship and training for team members

Supports excellent employee performance and encourage staff development.

Assists with the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.

Conducts weekly meetings to review complex cases and changes in procedures.

Completes special projects and tasks as assigned.

Position in this function includes those responsible for management and administration of multiple Medical & Clinical Operations Functions, or managing general operations which are not specific to one of the functions in the Medical & Clinical Operations job family.

- Manages and is accountable for professional employees and/or supervisors.

- Impact of work is most often at the local level.

Skills / Requirements

Clinical Registered Nurse with current licensure required. (Mississippi resident highly preferred.)
7 years Clinical background required
2+ years demonstrated leadership and team management/development skills
Experience working in Medicaid and/or Medicare health care and insurance industry, including regulatory and
compliance requirements
5+ years expereince in Case Management
Demonstrated ability to assist with focusing activities toward a strategic direction as well as develop tactical plans,
drive performance and achieve targets
Problem solving skills; the ability to systematically analyze problems, draw relevant conclusions and devise
appropriate courses of action
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying complex or
technical information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret complex information from others.
Should demonstrate proficiency in software applications that include, but are not limited to, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint
